Nowadays with the growth of Cloud Computing and Remote Assistance, our way of communicating with the world has indeed changed. Gone are the days when we used to stay at the mercy of our system engineer to look into when any faults occur in our system or we have to travel a lot just to give presentation to clients sitting far off. All this have changed and the silver bullet that we have today to ward these off is an excellent tool techinline.

This web browser based remote support software tool allows us to connect to our clients, customers and friends who are situated in different part of the world with ease. We can chat, interact, share your desktops and do much more. The software has also become one of the best tools for the IT companies to keep in touch with clients constantly all round the clock.

The software is compatible with only Windows based platforms and all the installation will take place in the web browser itself. The installation is simple and ready to use.

Now let’s move into its features section. The features included in the software are far better and simpler to use than the other remote softwares that we have used. The interface is highly streamlined and intuitive.

The 2 Way connect feature lets you share your desktop and communicate with the other person. With this you can interact with him via the chat tool along with FTP transfer window for sending and receiving files. This can also be an effective for delivering lectures, giving out training or demonstration and much more. Using this feature you can control the rebooting and shut down processes of the remote computer.

Another excellent feature is its ability to connect with the elaborate networks and computers that are hidden under public or private proxies without doing much effort.

Various visual enhancements have also been introduced. It allows you to customize and integrate the product with the services of your website. The Auto Scale and Scroll allow you to view the remote desktop screen independent of the resolutions. It will scale down or scale up as and when need arises. Another is when you view the screens of the multiple computers connected in a network in a grid form.

All your session activities will be tracked and recorded in an activity log file that is hosted on the servers of techinline and can be retrieved in a variety of file formats like PDF, Excel and Word.

Overall the product is found to be simple and easy to use and installed. The company offers it at a monthly price of $30 but we would recommend to go for per session plan initially so as to get accustomed to its working and interface. The per-session plan is offered at $20 for every 5 sessions. For further information check Techinline.

I am evaluating a free 15-day trial version of Techinline remote support tool, and I think I will buy it. I am not sure whether to buy an unlimited Yearly license at $300 or a Pay per Session license (about $3 per session), their pricing is so flexible that I am a bit at a loss: http://techinline.com/BuyNow. It allows me to see and control the client’s desktop, and the clients can do the same things on my desktop if I give them permission. I also tested the file transfer feature – worked great, and then I rebooted the client’s pc and the same support session was restored automatically. It allows advanced branding integration – this is very important for me as I am going to use Techinline for business purposes, and I like the idea of referring my clients to a branded support page right on my website.
