Like us Every blogger has some acceptance to such myths during their journey of blogging. There is no business or no job without myths. Life moves on and we learn from our mistakes. The myths I had till a few time are shared in this post today.
By just writing good stuff I can be a good blogger and earn a living.
Any body who has good communication skills and can write up on some topics can become a good blogger but that is not all. Blogging is not just merely about writing good content . It needs some basic knowledge of SEO , SERP , Keywords,Meta tags and all such terms.
Once I achieve good alexa rank I will be a millionaire.
Anyone who knows about Alexa Rankings would be aware of the satisfaction one gets after having a good Alexa rank. And if you have a good alexa rank this does not mean you will soon become a millionaire. Sometimes your site’s niche does not track high paying keywords and hence you dont get paid much.
Good Alexa Traffic means Good amount of Traffic.
This is a very big misconception among all of us that if some website is having good alexa rank would have great amount of visitors. Recently I compared my website with one of the websites that has half the ranking of mine. I would like to share some screen shots that would prove the above said statement as a big myth.

With such stats we find another myth actually true so make sure you don’t mix them up during your journey.
Visitors always rise never decrease.
Recently one of my friend blogger asked me this question that visitors never decrease they always increase . Mind it friends that is not true. Visitors can definitely go down as well. Blogs need to be updated regularly and not just updated but if you want to increase your search % you need to work very hard on that. A blog that can keep a mix of visitors and readers is certainly the best blog.
More and More visitors would increase the blog income.
This one is even more interesting. If you believe that with more number of visitors you can get more and more income that might not be true. There are some other factors as well which have more emphasis for income. If people are spending very less time on your site and not having good number of page views you will certainly not be able to earn much. For earning good from blog it is very essential that which ever visitors lands on your web pages spends some time on your blog so that he/she can get attracted to ads and then click on it.

This is true that good alexa ranking does not mean that you got the source of high income. Blogging is not easy and it required lots of hard work. It is good that we do blogging for earning money. But sometimes we forget about quality niche when we see the big amount of money. Earn trust of visitors and automatically we will earn money.
Very true. Just like by creating a product you don’t start earning money unless you are able to market it and sell it. Same goes true in blogging as well. Content is a product which we create but that needs to be properly markested and sold to make money.

These all are basic expectations people build in their mind when they begin this career.. Sometimes they understand it easily but the main thing is one should not conclude very fast.. Take your time study different things and then come to a conlusion
