Manpreet Gony the start bowler in the previous season from Chennai Super Kings Team was all set for his bidding.His base price was set to be $50,000.

Preity Zinta looked very keen to buy him in her team and began with the bidding process. There was a good fight among  Deccan Chargers and Kings XI.

Finally he was sold to Deccan Chargers at $290,000.
