This article is really a very interesting and useful one as if you want to block any of the websites like p**n sites or may be social networking websites etc.
Different modems have different methods , we will study this on a Beetel 420 bxiRouter.
Now we will be blocking Facebook in this tutorial.
First see when I enter the URL www.facebook.com the screen that comes up is:
But now when I will block this in the router we wont be able to access it..
So to block first we need to open the router configuration page that is on http://192.168.1.1/
It will prompt up for a password the username by default is admin and default password is password .
Note: Different company routers have different admin name and password so please confirm your password first.
The page that appears is the first initial router’s configuration page.

Now go to advanced setup and the parental control on the left and the page then appears is:
As soon as you press add you will not be able to open..
So to remove this click on remove button after ticking on the website you want to remove from the filter.
Now if you try to access Facebook in your browser you won’t be able to do so..

I’m not sure why but this weblog is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
