Adsense CTR a term or must say a term like dine of your life. If you are an adsense publisher you would understand the importance of having good CTR adsense. There are so many people all around the globe making thousands of dollars every month from Google adsense. And many like us even after having good amount of traffic are having low CTR.
Adsense CTR is known as the click through rate that determines your earnings. We can calculate adsense CTR by dividing the number of clicks by number of times the ads have been viewed by the visitors.
In order to find out the best methods to increase your Adsense CTR we have collected some points which have helped many people in getting better adsense tracking:
Make your ads look relevant:
I have been reading this option every there and now but never actually implemented it. But recently while making a big change with my adsense units I tested this. I enriched the ads in such a way that they almost look like highlighted content ( Try some attractive link color contrasting your content etc). A day previous to this change gave me one-third of the earnings which I got after this change. This change in earnings continued after this change.
Make your site look different from masses:
Every site on internet you come across is equipped with Google adsense so people are bored of watching the same ads appearing on every site. Until you make your site/blog look different from masses you are not going to get a good adsense CTR even if you have huge amount of visitors crawling in everyday.
Do not use the default adsense layout and fonts. Change the color of background , links etc accordingly to your website background.
Use blue links:
This is generally advised as the web world is using blue links. But I tried black links on one of my websites that too worked. On the other I tried red links but generally people are aware of watching these blue links on internet so it might just increase your credibility on the site and also help you to gain more CTR.
Use fewer Adsense Unit:
This could be very tricky. And this was the question around even on the social networking websites that whether using fewer adsense units could help?? Recently I tried this experiment and could say that yes it works and also helps to get a better CPM.
If you are able to optimize the adsense units on the single post page you can actually win the race of CTR. Try and enrich ads according to your article writing style. If you write small cover up ads at the top itself. If you write long then you can also keep ads at the middle or may be after 3-4 paragraphs.
Use premium theme for better Adsense CTR:
Some themes have inbuilt feature as Good adsense CTR and it could be worth using them if you can buy them for yourself.
Never stop testing and experimenting:
This is the best one and I follow this on weekly basis if some change works I adapt it and try experimenting different things with different channels. Adsense channels are the best way to track google adsense. As such there are no adsense tracking softwares that can help you check the credibility of work you have done with your blog but channels will give you a detailed idea of your experiments being successful or not.
