There is always been a talk of who is currently ruling the Smartphone world ? Is it Apple’s iPhone or Android ? It is a very difficult to answer as they have their own set of pluses. That is why they two are the only recognized devices right now. While android has large number of manufacturers, Apple has its own huge fan following. It isn’t that only fans are helping Apple drive but it is innovations and betterment of the technology which persisted before apple. Lets look at advantages that apple carries over android.
Siri:
Before getting to know why Siri has left android reeling behind apple,lets first have a look at what siri is
Siri (pronounced /ˈsɪri/) is an intelligent software assistant and knowledge navigator functioning as a personal assistant application for iOS. The application uses a natural language user interface to answer questions, make recommendations, and perform actions by delegating requests to a set of web services.
Thus Siri is capable of easily recognizing natural language (i.e the way you normally speak) and processing it with ease. Although Google has its own speech recognition softwares but it is nowhere near Siri, in terms of accuracy and throughput.
Phone Updates:
Phone updates are always a crucial part of any phone maintenance and to keep it in a healthy state. Android releases updates at a rapid fire pace which is well known but does the end user get all of them ? Not at all only very little , which means you are not up to date with the latest info and bug clearances.
Whereas Apple only releases a few but it reaches all devices because of two major reasons. One, It has limited number of device models and it knows what to update for each of them and secondly, it has a common interface through which the updates are installed. Thus mostly apple phones are always up to date with the latest versions.
Pre-Installed Crap Apps:
Android phones normally come with pre-installed apps from the manufacturers and carriers which you would normally don’t desire to have. These might not come from Google but the manufacturers and carriers. Additionally you would not be able to delete them as well.
Apple phones come with iOS apps and nothing else. So there is no issues with the crapwares that you need to get rid off. And also the latest iPhones 4S boosts to have not used Carrier IQ which logs all your information from calls to keystrokes on the Android.
Easy Integration With Apple Devices:
With Airplay technology Apple devices can directly be connected to each other over a wireless medium.
Android doesn’t have many devices which it can connect to it like the way Apple devices can.
Ridden by Innovations:
Although Android might boost of having an awesome technology but it looks to be a copy of apple. Apple has always been the leader in innovation, if not innovation then certainly technology enhancement. Apple has just transformed the way people used devices. Android for me always has been a copy of Apple because, Apple has always implemented it first.
